Why Everyone at Once?

I’ve been a Realtor for over twenty years, and the one thing that I can never figure out is why do open house attendees and potential buyers all seem to come at the same time? It is just so strange. I can sit in an open house for an hour with no one, then suddenly a number of people will walk in, then they will leave and I’ll be alone for awhile, then it happens again. I also see the same type of thing with showing appointments. They also seem to come in clusters, yet there is no pattern that I can see. Weird. Maybe this would make a good study for a doctorate in statistics candidate?
